Kim’s company, Tumbleweed & Honesty started in 2022 and she created beautiful pieces for weddings, funerals, hen parties and other events in the UK.
“Living on the North Kent Coast, where land meets sea, I’m fortunate to be surrounded by fields, waterways and woodland, all accessible within walking distance from my home.
I am the wild woman of the neighbourhood, always seen walking along the road with an armful of grasses, seed heads, fallen branches and twigs, accompanied by my faithful dog. This love affair of needing to be in nature and now obsession with foraging, was seeded from growing up in the hills above Swansea Docks.
Exploring my surroundings and the freedom to roam independently at a tender age was like a gift.
Finding warmth and comfort amongst the heathers and places to hide was a daily occurrence, which would later influence my passion for floral art and sustainable foraging.”
