  1. Arrival and departure times?
    • Arrivals are after 2pm on the first day of the festival, and before 2pm on the final day. The first meal served (for those taking full catering) is dinner on the arrival day, and the last meal served is lunch on the departure day.
  2. Where is the festival exactly in the grounds?
    • The festival is based in the grounds of Woolverstone Hall, but not in the hall itself (unless any specific workshop is held there). The field where we are based is called “church field” and does indeed have a church in it. The accommodation blocks (bedrooms) are next to church field.
  3. Can I bring a campervan?
    • Yes – book camping passes for each person, and also a campervan pass for the campervan or caravan. There are no electric hook up (EHU) available
  4. Can I put my tent next to my friend’s tent or campervan?
    • Yes, there is plenty of space and no particular space is allocated, both for campers in tents and those in campervans, so you can be next to whoever you choose to be next to
  5. Can I park my car next to my tent?
    • Yes, parking for campers is allowed next to their tents
  6. Are there toilets and showers for campers?
    • Yes, both of these facilities are provided for campers
  7. Are dogs allowed?
    • Yes, dogs are allowed, but only in the camping field, and they must be kept on a leash and supervised at all times. Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or any of the buildings
  8. Can I make a campfire by my tent?
    • Yes, campfires are allowed by the tents or campervans, but they must be off the ground and in a fire pit. If you damage the grass and grounds you may be asked to pay a £50 fine, or even to leave the festival. No refund will be provided
  9. Can I self cater if I have a bedroom?
    • There are no self catering facilities provided for anyone, including those who book a bedroom. We strongly suggest that you book the full catering package if you are booking a bedroom because of this
  10. Can I park my car next to my bedroom?
    • No, but the car parking area is not far from the accommodation buildings
  11. Can I leave the site and come back on site during the festival?
    • Yes – it’s no problem to leave the site and come back on at any time. You will have a wristband to show that you are already registered at the event
  12. Do I need to book workshops and activities in advance?
    • No – you simply turn up to the workshops and activities. No need to book in advance. With so many workshops running, we rarely have a problem with capacity, but if that does happen, then try to have a plan B and come again to the workshop you missed later in the week (but get there early!)
  13. I want to offer workshops / activities / volunteer at the festival – who do I contact?
    • Please email us at info@sunandmoonfestival.com to discuss possibilities of you offering workshops, activities or simply volunteering to help with the festival. We are generally very open to new people joining us in this way.
  14. Do you offer a free pass for carers?
    • Yes we can. Please email us at info@sunandmoonfestival.com to discuss any such requirements.
  15. Do you offer tickets for specific workshops?
    • No we do not, and logistically it would be hard, as we do not take bookings for individual workshops. We highly recommend that you come for a full day with a willingness to absorb the experience as a whole, rather than trying to go to one specific thing.
  16. Do you send out physical (paper) tickets?

No, we do not send out physical tickets. An email confirmation or ticket will be sufficient to show that you are booked in. On arrival we will provide you with the necessary wristbands to show that you are allowed to be at the festival.
