Arrival Information
Sun and Moon Festival 2026 is based at the Royal Agricultural University:
Stroud Rd, Cirencester GL7 6JS – google map link
If in any doubt – head to the RAU, and find us there! We are there to help!
- The site is open from 10am on Monday 24th August – you can arrive then and set up tents (see below)
- Festival Reception is open from 2pm on Monday 24th August in the Sir Emrys Jones Centre.
- Bedroom keys are available from 3pm on your day of arrival.
- No arrivals on Sunday night, please, unless agreed with management in advance.
Camping and Campervan Bookings – please enter via Tetbury Road (map link to entrance here)
Drop off your camping gear in the camping field, and move all cars to the main car park, which you can find via the main RAU entrance off Stroud Road. (map link to that entrance here)
Campervans and tents all go on the same field (the rugby field on the left as you come to the top of the drive). Do not camp anywhere else please!
There are hot showers and toilets available for the campers in the nearby Bledisloe accommodation block (not Cedar as shown on map – this is a mistake – we are human!)
Important – there are no fires allowed anywhere on site. Please only use gas cookers that are off the ground.
We do not currently know of any common areas / facilities that may be available in the buildings. Please ask us on arrival about this.
There are no electric hook-ups available for campers or campervans
There are plenty of electric plug sockets available in the various buildings that we are using, for charging phones etc. We suggest you use those in the Emrys Jones Building – where the festival reception will be, and where workshops will take place
Bedroom Bookings – please park in the main car park (off Stroud Road) and head to reception to collect keys and more information. (map link to that entrance here)
Our festival reception will give you wristbands for the festival and food.
The Uni team will provide the bedroom keys at a separate check in point (porters lodge)
