There’s a reason so many people say Sun and Moon feels like coming home.
People arrive in all kinds of ways. Some come with family or friends, others for the first time, on their own, not knowing what to expect. But somehow everyone leaves feeling more connected, lighter, and part of something bigger.
Our community always says the same thing: the people are what make this festival so special.
One guest shared: “Sun and Moon is my tribe. I arrived alone, unsure of what to expect, but from the moment I arrived, I felt held within the warmth, openness and safety of the community. There was no pressure to be anything other than myself.”
There’s something about Sun and Moon that makes people feel calm. Maybe it’s the shared meals, the music, the late night conversations, or being surrounded by people who welcome you as you are.
Families return year after year, watching friendships grow across generations. One festival goer shared, “A place where both myself and my teens have been able to be fully accepted. My teens have made friends for life.”
Another described it as her “safe space and her heart place.”
We offer a space to rest, laugh, dance, sing and reconnect with yourself and each other.
To everyone who has shared their kindness, stories, music and energy with us over the years, thank you for making Sun and Moon what it is.
We can’t wait to gather again soon.
