Alison is an award-winning mixed-media artist and workshop facilitator, focusing on free motion embroidery. She uses her domestic sewing machine as a tool for ‘drawing’ and ‘painting.’ Her practice is a process-driven exploration of material.
Alison exhibits and sells artwork internationally, works on private and public commissions, and has taught art to people of all ages for nearly thirty years.
