About Sandy & her classes

I have been teaching Yoga for 21 years - I create a Flow Yoga class which incorporates static and dynamic yoga postures.
Most people think of Hatha Yoga but all this means is the Male and Female energies Ha (Sun) Male and Tha (Moon) Female - with strong and passive postures.
 
My classes have various styles in the lesson but more importantly I am a corrective Teacher and I tell the class what the particular posture does for the body and mind.
This makes so much more sense to the class than just copying me doing the Yoga which means I cannot watch what you do. 
So I show you what to do and give modifications if pupils are unable to do the full pose. I also challenge the students than can perform the postures. 
 
The class is for beginners and experienced pupils so everyone gets a lot from attending the class.
I always give a 15 minute relaxation at the end of the class - giving the muscles a rest, with the result of feeling relaxed and peaceful after class. 
 
Time permitting we may do some breathing exercises - it depends on what the mood of the class is.

I am a qualified British Wheel Yoga Teacher and the qualifications takes 4 years so its very thorough.
I am also qualified to teach Yoga Teachers Breathing Techniques as well as beginners.
