Using Merrist Woods dedicated Forest School setting, these sessions will include fire lighting, whittling, forest education, den building and loads of fun games (and maybe even a few marshmallows)!
There will be 2 sessions of 2.5 hours each. Ideally children would be aged 6-11 years old.
Younger children are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Maximum of 18 children in total.
Friday morning 9-11.30am
Sunday afternoon 2-4.30pm
A separate session for older children will be run on the teen programme:
Monday 9.30-12noon
About Matt and Leone
Matt and Leone are both trained Forest School Leaders and have worked with children for many years in various roles;
Leone as a play Therapist, and Matt as programme director for a children's charity all over the world.
They are fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained.
Some activities do have some risks which are fully assessed and will be closely supervised.
A safety briefing will be given to all children before doing anything and we will ask you to sign a permission form before they attend.
