What is Somatics and Embodiment
How can Somatics help you?
Somatic Awareness and Embodiment can improve posture, enhance co-ordination, overcome pain and command authenticity.
Somatics gives us back our power. We get behind our own steering wheel, to have control over our lives.
Using specific Somatic techniques such as focus, informed intention, experiential anatomy, mindful movement and breathwork we can increase our bodies efficiency,
support homeostasis, enhance the neuroplasticity of our brains and enliven our whole being.
By being embodied we take cues from our bodies to bring clarity to our thoughts, help with decision making, trust our intuition and regulate our emotions.
About Helene (Niio Dance)
Dance is my first passion and love.
Through dance I have experienced release, joy and freedom of body and mind and I have journeyed inward to tap into and learn from our amazing human body.
Having worked with children and young people using drama and the arts, I am also inspired by spontaneity, improvisation and explorations into the unknown,
which can reveal new dimensions in our creative psyche.
Niio Dance is my commitment to helping you to find personal tools to be vibrant, vital and alive.
I have presented talks and workshops in UK and Europe, including Spain, Holland and Portugal.
In previous times I have worked in the London media, created my own clothes line, and worked in education in Asia.
