Anita Jardine

Anita's music is melodic and bittersweet, from haunting ballads to hard hitting social satire; highly original lyrics astride rhythm and groove.

"Absolutely unique, she has presence and charisma. Great vocals, original songwriting and inimitable style." Gypsy Fire
"Very funny and sharp observations on life" The Musician

From her first appearance in the smoky jazz environs of the Colony Club in London's Soho at the age of 15, to taking Hastings Fat Tuesday celebrations by storm in 2017,
Anita remains unique and authentic. Originally a classically trained pianist, Anita took to the guitar like a duck to water in recent years and has since rocked the not so free
world with her captivating melodies and infectious rhythms.
Her worldwide appearances have led to musical connections being forged at large in the UK, US, Canada, Eastern and Western Europe, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Bali and Panama.

Originally from the hinterland of Essex, she has settled in the coastal cultural hotspot that is Hastings where she is now based but plans to continue her travels -
"Distance is no object where musical adventures are concerned!"

Anita will also facilitate her very popular songwriting workshops at the 2018 Sun & Moon Festival.
