Total Yoga - Mariette Labelle

​Mariette teaches a traditional and an integral type of yoga; a complete approach to yoga. 
It's a combination of Hatha yoga and Raja Yoga and is an approach which is easily adaptable and inclusive. 
It’s 'Total Yoga'; yoga for daily life.


About Mariette:

Mariette has been practising yoga for 28 years. She is registered as a yoga teacher,  Associate Level 2 member with Yoga Alliance UK Professionals. 
She has completed the Yoga Teacher Integration Course with Bihar School of Yoga and Satyananda Yoga Centres U.K. and Eire, 
studying with Swami Vedantananda and Swami Pragyamurti. 

Mariette is qualified to impart training in asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas,yoga nidra, meditation, Hatha Yoga cleansing practices and yoga philosophy. 
She also has completed the British Wheel of Yoga module to teach Yoga for People Living with Cancer. 
Other additional qualifications include a certificate to teach Yoga Nidra, Teaching Yoga for the Special Child 
(Sonia Sumar method from the Special Yoga Centre), Yoga Bugs, and Yoga’d Up.

Her previous careers have included Occupational Therapy (BMR-OT), and Contemporary Dance. These skills influence her teaching.

Her past and current teaching experiences have provided her with the opportunity to teach yoga to children with additional needs and their carers, 
adults with learning disabilities and with a variety of medical conditions including spinal cord injury, teenage girls, and people of all ages and abilities.

She is licensed, has a CRB disclosure and Emergency First Response training (First Aid).

Mariette is a registered teacher Associate Level 2 with Yoga Alliance Professionals. 
This accreditation demonstrates excellent standards.
