Serving as a moving meditation, Sun Salutation is one of the basic staples in the yogic world. It is a complete practice, as we flow through a few cycles of the set sequence, the releasing of energy has the effect of warming our body, energising the nervous system, stoking the digestive fire and balancing our mental and emotional state.
By linking the movement with breath, the blood flow speeds up while the mind becomes centred and calm.
