Qigong, Meditation and the Magic of the Breath – Nick Neter

Touch your inner space, which is nothingness, as silent and empty as the sky; it is your inner sky. Once you settle down in your inner sky, you have come home, and a great maturity arises in your actions, in your behaviour. Then whatever you do has grace in it. Then whatever you do is a poetry in itself. You live poetry; your walking becomes dancing, your silence becomes music.” ~Osho

We shall be exploring the power of the breath with gentle, flowing movements and stillness, connecting with our own ‘Qi’ (life energy) and that of nature.

By turning our attention inwards to become more aware of different parts of the body, we learn to establish a dialogue with our own body. This dialogue is both a new and ancient way to approach and experience ourselves.

By becoming more aware of ourselves and our own energy we explore our connection with the powerful universal energies.
When we begin to integrate all parts of ourselves and the universe, we promote our body’s innate ability to heal, maintain and regain optimal health.

Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years and can be done by people of all faith traditions... or none.
With the practice of meditation the mind settles and a sense of ease, tranquillity and joy arise. This can lead to insight and wisdom.

These two workshops can be experienced both individually, or  as a series of two. Choose whatever resonates with you.
Each session will include a gentle warm up, Qigong, a Meditation and a thought/story for the day.
No experience is necessary and the workshops are suitable for those 16 years and over.

Workshop 1- Letting go and Making Space

Workshop 2 – Creating your way

About Nick Neter

Since September 2009 I have been working full time as a Shiatsu Practitioner and Qigong Teacher.

I studied at the Zen School of Shiatsu in London and at The Shiatsu College, Hastings and recently gained a B’Sc Hons at the University of Brighton in Multidisciplinary Healthcare.
In 2014 I co-founded and helped to build the Well Being Centre near Eastbourne, an environmentally friendly and holistic health centre for complementary and transformative healing work,
in all its forms, on the edge of Pevensey marshes.
I have enjoyed working at numerous festivals over the years, including Glastonbury and Elderflower Fields and have been fortunate enough to co organise Retreats in Greece every year for the past 6 years.

I believe that Shiatsu, Qigong and Meditation have the ability to transform lives, in creating deeper understanding and new awareness on all levels of our being, and enables us to touch the divinity in all of us!
