Conversations Around Life and Death - Jean Francis

Let us imagine a crackling camp fire in our midst.
The sky above is full of stars and of
course the moon! We'll gather... to share, connect and be as one in this group for an hour or so.
Let us hold hands, to bring us together and sound ‘OMM’;  the sound of the beginning
of the world.

You will be asked to share with someone you have never met - your name, a little about yourself - and why you have come to this workshop.
Please be mindful of what you repeat
outside the circle – remembering the need for confidentiality at all times.

Jean’s training, as a OneSpirit Interfaith minister/celebrant, enables her to respect people of all faiths or none, holding the view that there are many paths to one truth.
She
has worked as a party and wedding planner and more latterly as a funeral arranger.
Using these
skills, she plans and carries out sacred, creative and loving ceremonies that celebrate and honour the many milestones of life, especially the final one.

Jean specialises in creating and officiating at weddings, baby naming and blessing ceremonies, funerals and the many rites of passage in-between.

Jean is the author of four books and winner of a Major National Award:
the ‘Most
Significant Contribution to the Understanding of Death' for her work on pre-need funeral planning awarded at the Good Funerals Awards ceremony in Bournemouth 2013.
