Food options at the Sun and Moon festival

At Sun and Moon we offer 2 fully catered options, or you can cater for yourself if you prefer. The "Community Kitchen" menu will also be available to purchase on a meal by meal basis at the festival (at a slight premium)

 

Fully catered options (3 meals a day)

  1. The "Community Kitchen" menu (see below for menu) - served outside in the main area
  2. The "Castle" menu (see below for menu) - served in the castle dining hall

 

Option 1 - The "Community Kitchen" menu - Gluten and Lactose free

Completely vegan plant based menu. No gluten or lactose used. Please bring your own plates and cutlery if possible (if not we have biodegradable, disposable ones available)

Dolmades, olives, beetroot and garlic salad, green salad, sundried tomato sauce and sprout salad

Veg and kidney bean chilli with corn crisps and salad

Lemon fennel and rocket salad, courgette noodles, sprouts, Veg pakora and hummus

Warm veggies casserole, mash potato, mixed salad

KIDS: Falafel in a buckwheat pancake with lettuce and vegan mayo or the above.  slice of cake

Spicy lentil salad, crunchy cabbage, Bombay potato, cashew cream

KIDS: pasta bolognese with lentils

Channa masala, rice, onion bhaji chutney and salad

KIDS: fried potatoes, sweetcorn, carrot sticks and bhajis. Slice of cake

Friday

Bean salad Guacamole, rice salad, buckwheat pancake

Veggie and cashew nut stir fry, short grain brown rice, black eyed pea pattie

Saturday

N/A (Breakfast only on Saturday)

 

 

DAILY BREAKFAST for the "Community Kitchen" menu consists of a hot drink, Juice, Gluten free oats raw or cooked, chia pudding, fruit salad, peanut butter, selection of nuts seeds and toppings.

KIDS: as above or cornflakes, rice puffs, Beans on gluten free bread ,mushrooms on gluten free bread.

 

Option 2 - The "Castle Menu" with vegan, vegetarian and meat eater options at all meals. All plates and cutlery provided by the castle
